The English Civil war was the last great conflict to take part on British soil. Brother fought brother as the country split along lines of loyalty to King or Parliament. We will trace this conflict from its beginning to it end. This course follows on from the earlier course on James I, but you do not need to have done that to understand or enjoy this one.
