Tutoring is flexible and comes in many formats. Some students prefer to self-study a course; some might like to just watch the recordings of lessons; some prefer the webinar style, and some might enjoy the participation and discussion which comes with a small live group. All students tend to learn at their own pace, which is far easier to achieve with Home Education than it is in school.
When your child is ready to start GCSEs, be that at 11 or 16+ or anywhere in between, then we try to find a way that suits you. We offer a range of formats and try to adapt to each students' requirements. For your GCSE ready children, this is a useful Facebook group if you have questions about exams or different subjects: Home Education UK Exams and Alternatives. I am not affiliated in any way with that group, it is one we have personally found useful.
The KS2 courses are not assessed, as I feel it is not necessary at this age, it is more about introducing a passion and interest about the subject. The KS3 courses will assess the skills the students have learnt throughout the course and the knowledge they have gained. The GCSE courses have homework set and marked fortnightly, end of unit assessments and mock exams
