Edward I was the king who may be most responsible for the shape of modern Britain today. He lived an exciting life involving Crusades and invasions and was the king who conquered Wales (still a contentious issue) and attempted to conquer Scotland (a lot!) This course follows his exciting, violent life from his youth to grey-bearded old age.
