Fiction has always been used as a tool for teaching philosophical ideas and exploring important concepts. Fantasy is a genre that can use hypotheticals to do this particularly well. This course will use examples from a range of fantasy settings from the Lord of the Rings and Percy Jackson to the Discworld and Warhammer with a lot of stops in between.
