How are these lessons structured?

The Course

This course is a little different to my usual history courses. Instead of taking one topic and diving in deep, this course is all about learning to write effective answers to big historical questions. Each lesson focuses on one of the key skills used in history from KS2 to KS4 and will help students to write paragraphs that get to the heart of an issue in as effective a way as possible. Each lesson will use a particular figure from history as our basis so there will still be a heap of new, interesting history facts to learn. These historical figures will hopefully be familiar already so we can really get deep into how to structure our writing.
