John Milton’s Paradise Lost is an epic poem in the style of Homer or Virgil but far more modern (and Christian). It tells the tale of the War in Heaven and how this leads to the Fall of the first humans; Adam and Eve. Jake retells this suitably epic tale which is exciting and full of fun characters.
